Turning rookies into rippers - overnight!  That's what our ski and snowboard school instructors do. Whether it's your first time on snow or just your first time on skis or a snowboard you'll be in a novice's paradise. Introductory lifts, dedicated beginner slopes, and gentle terrain with plenty of room to comfortably develop your turning and stopping skills are just what you need. 

The Learn to Ski and Ride Progression Package is the best way for new skiers and riders to connect to Squaw Valley's legendary terrain and unique community. The Progression Package includes 3 days of professional guidance, unlimited lift access, state of the art rental equipment, and a “learn to turn guarantee.”  Lessons may be taken consecutively or any time throughout the season.  Offered daily; meeting at 9:45am and ending at 3:30pm. for ages 13 and up. (The Progression Package is non-transferable)

You can still upgrade to the three day Progression Package after your first lesson. Non-transferable

See how expert instruction can make your experience on the mountain better. Tuesday Tips introduces skill-building exercises on terrain suited for your progression. Available to intermediate skiers and riders ages 13 and up; scheduled every Tuesday from January 8 through the end of March. Clinic starts at 11:00, ends at 11:45

Kids Full-Day Ski 10-Pack

At Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows we inspire kids to become great skiers with a passion for the outdoors. The Kids Full-Day Ski 10-Pack, gives your child access to 10 full-day ski lessons at our Squaw Kids or Alpine Kids training centers at a savings of 20%. That’s like getting two whole days for free! Registration starts daily at 8:30am with kids getting on snow at 10am, with a pick up at 3:15pm, a healthy lunch is also included. The Kids Full-Day Ski 10-Pack is fully transferable between children in the same family and can be used at either location, any day we are open. Offered to all levels of skier ages 3 to 13.
