Beacon Basin - Free Avalanche Awareness/Beacon Class 5:30pm

This free course meets at 5:30pm at the Squaw Valley USA Ski Patrol building (in the Red Dog Complex and across the way from Squaw Kids).

The course, which teaches avalanche safety and beacon use, is open to employees and public but all attendees are asked kindly to please register in advance by calling Squaw Valley Ski Patrol at 530-452-7260

Please bring your own transceiver, however if you do not own a beacon, one will be available for loan for the duration of the 1 hour and a half long class.

There is no ski/board component to this course.
