The first storm system of the weekend is exiting the region today as the next colder storm is approaching from the Northwest.  We have seen 5 inches of snow at the top of the mountain so far with some rain at the base.  

The next colder storm is currently pushing inland over Northwest California.  That will push a cold front with heavy snow through the region tonight along with dropping snow levels.  We could see 10-15 more inches at the top by Sunday morning, with several inches at the base.  The amounts at the base depend on how fast the snow levels fall tonight as the colder air moves in.

Tomorrow we should see a few more inches on the mountain as snow showers linger through the day.  Then we dry out Monday and Tuesday but with clouds still around as the storms continue just to our North.  

The next system to affect the region will be Tuesday night into Wednesday.  We could see a quick shot of heavy precip as a cold front dips towards the region.  The cold front will not push far enough South to lower the snow levels to the base, but on the upper half of the mountain we could pick up another foot of snow.

We should dry out and start to clear for Thanksgiving with the sun returning and nice temperatures.  A ridge will begin to build along the West coast which will keep the weather quiet through next weekend with warming temperatures.  

Looking at the long-range we could see some colder air push in week 2 with the next chance of snow being around the end of the month and continuing into early December.  BA
