Snow in the Forecast This Weekend

Light snow will push into Tahoe on Saturday followed by some heavier snowfall for Sunday into Monday. Rigth now it looks like a dusting to a couple of inches for Saturday and then we could see a half foot or more Sunday into Monday.

The next break through of storms looks like it could be around the end of next week or into the following week. The forecast is for the ridge to shift North possibly allowing the storms to underneath by mid-month. We are hoping that we could see another period of big snow.
After 5 Feet of Snow the Weather Quiets Down

After the final flakes fell on Monday we added up the totals and came up with 60 inches at high camp. That was 5 feet over the 4 day period of Friday - Monday. There is a nice base out there now as the weather takes a break this weekend.

Thanks for joining us this season. The highlights were many. From an opening day in October to the US Alpine Championships. We've put a few of our favorite moments together in the video above. We hope you'll enjoy reliving some of the season. We'll miss skiing and riding but will content ourselves with hiking, biking, Lake Tahoe, golf, kayaking, and enjoying these majestic mountains. The 23rd Annual Cushing Crossing will be the best event of the spring season. The original pond skimming event that started a spring resort ritual. Every year we gather a celebrity judging panel and amazing emcee's for this spectacle. Filled with big spills and laughable thrills this is one spring event that you don't want to miss.
Registration for this event is $20 and is limited to 50 entrants. Lift ticket not required for entry.
