Squaw Valley USA joins the National Ski Areas Association in promoting safety awareness throughout the resort.

This 1 day premiere camp for teens is offered during holiday and peak periods of the winter season. Dec 25-Jan 7, Jan 13-15, Feb 17-Feb 25. Squaw Sessions focuses on orgins of the freeride movment at Squaw and sharpens skills for mastering the terrain parks and big mountain skiing and riding. Coached by pro skiers and boarders such as Evan Raps, Ingrid Backstrom, Jeremy Jones and more. Ages 13-17. For more information and registration, call 530-581-7130.

Besty Rosenberg will discuss environmental concerns and the inner workings of sharing this information wit the public through the media. $10 at door. Location at Coyote Moon in Truckee. 6:30pm No host bar. Program begins at 7pm.
