The three-day JFW clinic is designed exclusively for women and is taught by Squaw Valley's top female instructors. The clinic features the half days of instruction, stretching and body awareness techniques, video feedback, off-slope workshops in ski selection and equipment care, and evening socials. A beautiful torchlight parade and a colorful fireworks show are part of the fun as we kick-off a weeklong celebration of the North Lake Tahoe Community, the annual Snow Festival. The Snow Festival Queen Coronation begins at 6:30pm in the Village followed by an amazing Laser light show at the base of KT22. The torchlight parade will making its way down the mountian beginning at 7:15pm followed by a huge fireworks display. Stick around for a huge pary in the Olympic Plaza Bar and Zenbu with Space Cowbys and Truckee Tribe. Details: 530-583-6985

Tails By The Lake is and the Village at Squaw are hosting the S now Doggie Agility Course. Enter your dog to win great prizes. Registration 2:30pm. Contest begins at 3pm.

Tonight is the Snow Festival Opening Ceremonies. Due to the fantastic Torchlight Parade at 7:15pm there will be no night skiing after 6pm. The Cable Car and High Camp are open for dining and ice skating until 9pm weather pending.
