A beautiful torchlight parade and a colorful fireworks show are part of the fun as we kick-off a weeklong celebration of the North Lake Tahoe Community, the annual Snow Festival. The Snow Festival Queen Coronation begins at 6:30pm in the Village followed by an amazing Laser light show at the base of KT22. The torchlight parade will making its way down the mountian beginning at 7:15pm followed by a huge fireworks display. Stick around for a huge pary in the Olympic Plaza Bar and Zenbu with Space Cowbys and Truckee Tribe. Details: 530-583-6985

21 and over, $5 at the door from 9pm to 1:30am. Ring in Snowfest right!

Teams of three (skiers, snowboarders or telemarkers) participate in this fun event to raise money and provide scholarships for the Jimmie Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis. Event includes a dual slalom and poker run competition. Details: Call Terry at 530-582-4878
