- Snow Festival Runs March 2-11
A beautiful torchlight parade and a colorful fireworks show are part of the fun as we kick-off a weeklong celebration of the North Lake Tahoe Community, the annual Snow Festival. The Snow Festival Queen Coronation begins at 6:30pm in the Village followed by an amazing Laser light show at the base of KT22. The torchlight parade will making its way down the mountian beginning at 7:15pm followed by a huge fireworks display. Stick around for a huge pary in the Olympic Plaza Bar and Zenbu with Space Cowbys and Truckee Tribe. Details: 530-583-6985

As part of the Honda Ski Tour opening ceremonies, Squaw Valley USA will enjoy a huge fireworks display at 7pm. There will be night skiing until 6pm only this evening. High Camp el. 8,200' will be open for Cable Car rides, ice skating and dining until 9pm, conditions pending.
