A beautiful torchlight parade and a colorful fireworks show are part of the fun as we kick-off a weeklong celebration of the North Lake Tahoe Community, the annual Snow Festival. The Snow Festival Queen Coronation begins at 6:30pm in the Village followed by an amazing Laser light show at the base of KT22. The torchlight parade will making its way down the mountian beginning at 7:15pm followed by a huge fireworks display. The Ski Tour, a.k.a the loudest show on snow, is a new series of competitive events featuring the worlds best skiers in the most exciting and progressive formats: Skiercross and Halfpipe. As part of the Honda Ski Tour opening ceremonies, Squaw Valley USA will enjoy a huge fireworks display at 7pm. There will be night skiing until 6pm only this evening. High Camp el. 8,200' will be open for Cable Car rides, ice skating and dining until 9pm, conditions pending.

Come out for an impressive and amazing ice carving demonstration. 5pm-7pm

This one day, premier clinic is designed exclusively for women and is taught by Squaw Valley's top female instructors. The clinic features the half days of instruction, stretching and body awareness techniques, video feedback, off-slope workshops in ski selection and equipment care, and evening socials.
