Job Summary: Hires, trains, and supervises staff and manages the department. Resposible for overseeing all financial operations of the corporation including accounting, budgeting, ticketing, purhcasing, pricing, and management information.
Job Tasks: Assists with insurance, employee benefits, and evaluates the financial impact of marketing programs. Prepares and presents financial statements and projections to the Board of Directors. Prepares and reviews pricing schedules, supervises ticket administration, data processing, purchasing, and accounting. Must perform duties of other positions when necessary. Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Summary: Compiles, matches and verifies invoices with appropriate documents in order to process checks to vendors.
Job Tasks: Matches receiving documents and purchase orders with invoices. Verifies unit costs, extensions, discounts, and tax and account numbers. Writes cover sheets, keys in all information into the accounting software and processes checks. Corresponds with department heads and vendors to ensure correct payments.
Accounts Receivables Clerk
Job Summary: Record and deposit receipts and maintain invoice accounts receivable customers. Performs account reconciliations and accounting projects as requested.

Cable Car Attendant
Job Summary: Conducts the Cable Car and provides customer information to all riders. aids in the upkeep of the Cable Car and surrounding facility.

Ticket Administration Assitant Manager

Central Reservations Agent
Agents are travel representatives that handle inbound vacation travel sales for the Squaw Valley/North Tahoe area. Agents help customize vacation packages for guests and sell all of Squaw Valley's services.

Conference Planning Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform general office duties and assist other personnel as required.
- Assist meeting planners and groups booked at The Village at Squaw Valley USA with all aspects of their planning needs. This could be anything from a dinner reception at High Camp or a meeting set classroom style in our Palisades Room.
- Perform administrative duties such as typing of contracts/proposals, mailings, and general other administrative type functions.
- Maintain in constant contact with corporate and association meeting planners that have booked a program with us to help facilitate their meeting needs.
- Maintain a working relationship with departments interacting with convention groups.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and make recommendations of changes, which would affect operations.
- Maintain accurate forecast and recap information.
- Set-up and conduct site inspections for entire property.
- Perform other related duties as requested by the Director of Sales.
- Practice safety standards and report unsafe conditions to the Director of Sales.

Job Summary: Supervise and manage all employees in the Lift Operations department. Responsible for the performance of all operators and ensure the smooth operation of all lifts on the mountain.

Job Tasks: Performs daily pre-operational inspection and completes log book and other reports as required. Responsible for snow clearance at station areas. Advises supervisor of any condition or occurrence that adversely affect safety of the operation. Must be familiar with basic function of drive terminal machinery and lower terminal. Needs to be familiar with all lift components and basic lift adjustments. Can actuate rigging and has awareness of spotting problems. Understands employee problems and assists when possible. Must have the ability to manage the entire mountain during any situation. Sets safe work habits for all maintenance employees. Ensures that all laws and company policies are upheld. Maintains a complete record keeping system and works well with all other departments.

Electrician
Job Summary: Maintains all electrical equipment within SVSC buildings in working order.
Job Tasks: Works with engineer, manager, and other crafts people to provide safe working environment for electricians. Must have some training or experience in the electrical field. Performs duties and handles tools and equipment while following the proper safety procedures. Works in hazardous conditions with supervision.
Lift Electrician
Job Summary: Maintains electrical function of all ski lifts and funitel and installs any new equipment.
Job Tasks: Electrically maintains all lifts to the highest level of quality. Ensures all codes and regulations are upheld. Advises supervisor of any condition or occurrences that affect the safety of the lift. Is familiar with the electrical function of all lifts and funitel and can troubleshoot in a timely manner. Safely moves lift to evacuate the public during breakdowns.

Funitel Operator
This job is separate from other lift operators. Funitel staff only work on and operate Squaw Valley's Funitel. Staff also provide information to the guests and aid in the upkeep of the facility. Some maintenance required.

Groomer
Job Summary: Seasonal position involving the use of over-the-snow grooming vehicles in a safe, responsible, and conscientious manner. Works at night to provide the skiing public with a high quality skiing surface for the next day. Emphasis is placed on the highest degree of quality possible in the work accomplished and on cooperation and communication with fellow workers and the shift supervisor.
Job Tasks: Operates grooming equipment safely. Covers rocks and obstacles on the slopes. Moves snow from low wear areas to high wear areas. Must have the ability to use various grooming vehicles. Daily check-outs and performs basic maintenance. Ability to perform light to medium manual labor such as changing implements, vehicle check-outs and miscellaneous other chores.

Guest Services
As a guest services employee your sole responsibility is to greet and help the guests by providing information at various inside and outside locations and on the phone. Other duties include checking tickets, manning Information Booths and the Lost and Found, updating weather and lift information boards as conditions change and offering suggestions, directions and answers to the guest's questions.

Race Services Worker
Job Summary: Works at all race events put on at SVSC that are run through Race Services. Assists in setting courses, shoveling snow, setting fencing, timing races, working with large groups of people, electronics, and salting courses (each bag weights approximately 50 lbs.). Carries all types of snow fencing, up to 70 lbs. and skis in all snow conditions.
Job Tasks: Sets courses with Race Services Department Manger.
Shovels snow around the course, puts up fencing, times the races, and upholds the highest standards of course maintenance. Must work with large groups of people and also salts the course.

Revegetation Technician
Job Summary: Seasonal, field-based position that is responsible for the implmentation of specific revegetation, erosion control and watershed management projects. Projects are generally performed on steep, rough, mountainous terrain. Works under the direct supervision of a field supervisor or in an organized crew. Occasionally, individuals are required to work independently or with one or two crew persons on a specific short term project.
Job Tasks: Uses various hand and power tools such as picks, shovels, chainsaws, rock drills, etc. Works on and around specialized revegetation equipment, such as a hydroseeder, straw chopper/blower, or heavy trucks. Must be able to operate the equipment listed above after receiving proper training. Loads and unloads various materials, tools and equipment used in resource management activities. Maintains all tools and equipment. Sets up, operates, and dismantles an extensive irrigation system. Facility maintenance and general cleaning and housekeeping as necessary.

During operation of the installation, the crewman performs all activities as assigned and required to assure the safe efficient operation of the system.
Job Tasks: Makes the necessary adjustments to the computer systems during operational periods. Travels over the snow on steep terrain by foot of via snowmobile in order to check on system operation and to perform adjustments and minor repairs. Shovel and move hoses as required. Job Summary: Issues, maintains, and secures the return of uniforms from all SVSC employees.
Job Tasks: Issues all work related garments to all SVSC employees. Files uniform agreements, makes name tags for SVSC employees. Mends and launders garments as well as stores them in an appropriate area. Goes to the administration office to pick up mail and makes copies when necessary.
Department: Vehicle Maintenance
Vehicle Mechanic
Job Summary: Be able to work unsupervised on all aspects of maintenance and repair within the shop and equipment you are assigned to. Remove and reinstall engines, transmissions, rear ends, and do necessary repairs. Be familiar with and solve any electrical problem that may occur. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and move heavy objects, to climb into lift terminals for the purpose of running lift auxiliary. Work with electrical wiring and components and solve most electrical problems.
Job Tasks: Knowlegde of over-the-snow grooming equipment. Ability to perform above functions as well as lifting, carrying, and transporting. Maintain and repair SVSC vehicles.
