Kids Group Lessons
April 16-29 we are offering group morning half-day sessions for ages 3-13 and we offer offer children's private lessons. We're a one-stop-shop for kids' lessons, rental equipment, helmets and lift tickets for the whole family.

Ages 3-4
Mountain Sliders Ski (Ages 3-4)
The Mountain Sliders instructors know how to keep this age group engaged. Whether your little one is just starting with "pizza and french fries" on their skis or starting to turn, our Mountain Sliders Instructors can keep them smiling! This ski program is an "educational learn to ski program" specially set up for this age group. The learning objective is to familiarize the child with the equipment, the snow environment and to have FUN! We have small student to teacher ratios, 4 to 1, to ensure a great experience. All skiing for Mountain Sliders will start in our beginner backyard on the flats, or the Magic Carpets, just steps from the Squaw Kids building and then move to a chairlift when ready. Up to 2 hours of skiing in the morning and afternoon.
A full day of skiing can be a lot for this age group. Please keep in mind that the Mountain Sliders Ski Program is a physically demanding program and your child must be willing to ski and separate from you. Mountain Sliders enrolled must be able to use the bathroom independantly to participate. Please note that this is not Day Care. It may be recommended for your child to start out with a half day session. During the non ski portion of the day your child may go on a Funitel ride, a walk around the Village or watch a short movie.
A copy of a birth certificate is required as proof of age for all 3 year olds on their first visit.

We do not issue refunds due to weather, when children are unwilling to participate or who become ill after being in our care 1 hour past the start of their lesson. When issued, all refunds are issued to an internal credit.
Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel your reservation by 1pm (Pacific Time) the day before your reservation there is no charge
- If you cancel after 1pm and before 5pm the day before your reservation the charge is $15 for group and $50 for private lessons
- If you cancel on the day of your reservation, or do not show up for your reservation, you are subject to the full charge.
Ages 5-7
Mountain Explorers Ski (Ages 5-7)
The Squaw Kids Instructors who work with this age group know how to keep these kids moving! The focus of Mountain Explorers is to enhance learning by exploring the mountain and keep the kids smiling. All ski levels are welcome, with groups starting at the beginner backyard with a flat area, and Magic Carpets. Children who are ready will explore the mountain according to their skill level. The full day sesson includes several hours of on-snow instruction and a lunch break. Please remember to pack a snack in your child's pocket. We have small teacher to student ratios, 5 to 1, to ensure a great experience.

Mountain Riders Snowboard (Ages 5-7)
With a small child to teacher ratio, 5 to 1, our Squaw Kids Snowboard Instructors will get this age group moving on their boards by using appropriate terrain and games. Groups will focus on slope etiquette, equipment knowledge and of course FUN! The Mountain Riders will start in our beginner backyard on our Magic Carpets. Children who are ready will explore the mountain accordingly. The Full Day Session includes several hours of on snow instruction and a lunch break. Please remember to pack a snack in your child's pocket.

Known for our fun and talented Squaw Kids Instructors for this age, groups will cruise the mountain according to their skill level. The focus is on having fun out on the mountain while working on skill development, skiing etiquette, safety and keeping the kids engaged and moving! The full-day session includes several hours of on-snow instruction and a lunch break. It is recommended to pack a snack in your child's pocket.
Mountain Jibbers Snowboard (Ages 8-13)
Squaw Kids offers first time thorugh advanced snowboard lessons. Along with acquiring new skills, groups will learn slope etiquette, equipment knowledge, and a few tricks along the way! The Mountain Jibbers will start at Squaw Kids and move to appropriate terrain out on the mountain. The full day session includes several hours of on snow instruction and a lunch break. Please remember to pack a snack in your child's pocket.
