Nate Holland

Congratulations to our local hero and Monster Energy Athlete Nate Holland for once again bringing home the gold medal in Men's Boardercross at the 2009 Winter X Games! Four in a row, way to go!
Inspired by early snowboard movies with Sean Farmer hucking himself off the Fingers of KT-22, Nate Holland moved to Squaw Valley in 1999. Living proof that Squaw Valley is a place where dreams come true, Nate's first job on the mountain was a Lift Operator. Nate had competed in Freestyle snowboard events like Half Pipe and Big Air along with Boardercross since making the big switch from 2 boards to 1 when he was ten. It was not until three years ago, when the International Olympic Commitee announced that Boardercross would be an official event in the Olympics that Nate put all his eggs in the Boardercross basket.
Nate has been busy dominating the Boardercross circuit...stay tuned for more insider info on him.
