Squaw Valley joins the National Ski Areas Association in promoting safety awareness throughout the resort. Remember to wear your helmet, slather on that sunscreen, and be knowledgable about avalanche awareness. Don't forget to catch the Steep and Deep Avalanche Awareness Clinic occuring on Saturday, January 21 in the Plaza Bar in Olympic House. Stay tuned for more details on events and programs.
Conditions were exceptional this week at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. Together the two resorts currently offer 5000 skiable acres, 32 lifts, and 6 terrain parks with 38 features.
