Summer Concerts and Festivals
July 24-26: Wanderlust Music Festival, -yoga,lifestyle and nature. Squaw Valley USA presents live music throughout the base area, Olympic House and the upper mountain Gold Coast Bowl with Michael Franti & Spearhead, Spoon, Gillian Welch and many others. Every Tuesday (starting July 7): Tuesday Bluesday. Take advantage of discounted Cable Car/activity packages, fun and delicious Bluesday dining and live music. Click here for the lineup and details.
July 11: Soaring Kites & Music Festival takes place on the upper mountain. Watch professional kiters fly their stuff, fly your own, get some free face painting and catch live music with Terrapin Road at High Camp, el. 8200', noon to 4pm.
July 18-19: 8th Annual Art, Wine & Music Festival. Stroll the base Village and enjoy arts and offerings from fine photography to unique jewelry, live music and regional wines, 10am -6pm.
August 1-2, Wild West Weekend at Squaw. The mountaintop comes alive with a petting zoo, homestyle bbq, Sierra Stars Square Dancing, live music with Pete Charles and fiddlin' Jenny and cowboy poetry with Larry Maurice. Click here for the complete schedule.
August 15-16: 8th Annual Brews, Jazz & Funk Fest. Grab a beer, sit back and enjoy the sound of high altitude jazz and funk in the Village at Squaw Valley, 2-8pm.
September 6: 21st Annual Alpen Wine Festival in the Village, 2-5pm.
September 19-20: 6th Annual Art Bark Fest featuring animal art and wine tasting in the Village, 11am-5pm.
October 3: 8th Annual Village Oktoberfest with traditional Bavarian music, folk dancers and benefit beer garde, 2-6pm.
