Sunset Dinner Package

Ride the scenic Cable Car to High Camp, el. 8200' and enjoy a lovely dinner at Alexander's Cafe overlooking Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley USA.

The High Camp Sunset Dinner Package is available when night operations are in effect (June 27 - August 31).

Reservations are strongly recommended. Please call 530-452-7278 in advance of your arrival to make your dinner reservations and ensure your spot.

The sun sets at about 8:30pm in late June and early July, between 8-8:15pm in late July and early August and around 7:30pm in late August.

Sunset Dinner Package tickets are purchased at the base of the Cable Car at the ticket portal. If you would like to arrive earlier in the day to enjoy High Camp and then stay for dinner you may still take advantage of the dinner package. The cost is $41 per person after 5pm.

The ticket includes the Cable Car ride and a 3-course dinner at Alexander's Cafe with selections from a special menu (see menu below). Seating for dinner begins after 4pm.

Combine your dinner with a fun day at High Camp including a spin on the ice at the Olympic Ice Pavilion or enjoy a leisurely hike, a swim in the pool, or a soak in our high altitude spa before dinner (pool & spa open until 7pm). The use of the pool and ice rink are not included in the price of the dinner package. You may purchase pool or ice skating tickets at High Camp.

The Cable Car uploads until 8:40pm, with dinner seating until 9pm. Last Cable Car down is at 9:40pm. Operations subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
