Learn to Ski & Snowboard Celebration
Learn to ski and snowboard at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows! Learn the basics and feel comfortable on the slopes. Before you know it, you'll be making turns and falling in love with the sport. This learn to ski/snowboard package includes beginner lift access, lesson and equipment rental for just $39 during specific days in January. For ages 13 & up.

Package includes beginner lift, lesson and rental for just $39 for ages 13 & up. The Learn to Ski & Ride Celebration will be held on the following days:

| January 13 | Alpine Meadows | 10am-12:30pm or 1-3:30pm. Meet 15 minutes before to the left side of the lodge, adjacent to Hot Wheels lift. |
| January 26 | Squaw Valley | 10am-12:30pm or 1-3:30pm. Meet 15 minutes before at Ski & Snowboard School meeting location in front of the Funitel |
| January 27 | Alpine Meadows | 10am-12:30pm or 1-3:30pm. Meet 15 minutes before to the left side of the lodge, adjacent to Hot Wheels lift. |
You will get your rental equipment and lesson ticket at the rental shop. You'll get your lift ticket from your instructor at the beginning of class.

Skiing and snowboarding lets us experience the freedom of gliding down a mountain, the chance to see pristine landscapes, opportunities to meet new and different friends from everywhere.
How many recreational activities can you do outside in the cool, crisp air of winter? How many provide times when family and friends can get together to share the experience? How many can be learned at a VERY early age and practiced throughout life? How many teach us to love snow and not fear it?

Bring a Friend is a way for friends and family members to share their love of skiing and snowboarding or discover it for the first time. If you already are a skier or a snowboarder, bring a friend or family member to a local resort and help him/her sign up for lessons from a professional instructor.
The best way for newcomers to learn is by taking lessons from a pro.

As brilliant blue skies and warm temperatures return to the Sierras, Squaw Valley prepares to open for summer 2013. This summer brings a variety of outdoor activities including base area paintball, roller skating, geocaching, disc golf, hiking, scenic Aerial Tram rides and the High Camp Pool and Hot Tub. With incredible views of Lake Tahoe in a pristine alpine setting, Squaw Valley is the ultimate destination for this summer's big adventures.
Thanks for joining us this season. The highlights were many. From an opening day in October to the US Alpine Championships. We've put a few of our favorite moments together in the video above. We hope you'll enjoy reliving some of the season. We'll miss skiing and riding but will content ourselves with hiking, biking, Lake Tahoe, golf, kayaking, and enjoying these majestic mountains. The 23rd Annual Cushing Crossing will be the best event of the spring season. The original pond skimming event that started a spring resort ritual. Every year we gather a celebrity judging panel and amazing emcee's for this spectacle. Filled with big spills and laughable thrills this is one spring event that you don't want to miss.
Registration for this event is $20 and is limited to 50 entrants. Lift ticket not required for entry.
