Tahoe's Longest Season

From mid-November into of May, Squaw offers more days on the snow every season. Squaw Valley's vast upper mountain holds the snow in wide-open bowls, chalking up a base snow depth that ranges from 10-20'. This makes for exceptional spring skiing with more terrain open longer. On the real big years, we'll even reopen for July 4th!

Free Night Skiing

All day tickets and season passes include FREE night skiing on Squaw's extensive lighted terrain. Squaw Valley offers more nighttime fun than any other California resort, including the 3.2 mile mountain run from High Camp to the base, and the Riviera Halfpipe, lit up for night sessions.

Extensive Grooming

There's nothing like carving turns on a fresh-groomed run, and Squaw Valley's fleet of over 30 machines rolls, tills, and pushes the snow all around the mountain each and every night to make perfect corduroy every morning. From wide-open rolling glades, to some of the steepest groomed runs in North America, there's groomed terrain for all abilities.

World Class Terrain Parks & Halfpipes

Squaw Valley carves, cuts and creates different terrain parks each season with an enormous Superpipe. The Belmont Park is a popular area for all ages and abilities, offering easier jumps, rollers, rails, and features.

More Amenities, Activities & Facilities

Squaw Valley offers more on and off the mountain. A multitude of restaurants and shops abound, along with numerous non-ski activities, including Scenic Cable Car rides, ice skating, snowtubing, mountain-top dining, and in the spring, swimming and sunbathing at High Camp. At the base, enjoy expansive sundecks and eateries steps from the snow along with the new Village's restaurants and shops galore.

More Parking/Easy Base Access

Getting in and out of Squaw is easy and there's always ample parking, within walking distance of the lifts. Our spacious, flat parking area sits right at the base of the mountain, allowing easy access to base lifts and facilities, including the Far East Center. The main access road is wide and flat - no hassles in or out. It's all right at the base. No remote parking lots or uncomfortable busing, and you'll always find a spot, no matter what time you arrive.
