Truckee Tahoe Medical Group's clinic is staffed by physicians trained in family practice, internal medicine, and sports medicine. Their full-service clinic has x-ray facilities on site and can meet most all medical needs, including casting, sutures, fractures and any urgent care concern.
Good communication between patient and physician is the key to establishing excellent medical care. We will discuss diagnoses, treatments and proposed tests openly with you so that you may help to decide the best course of action. In general, we prefer that your initial visit include a thorough evaluation to establish an accurate data base. This would include your complete personal medical history, family history, present habits and a physical examination. this enables us to diagnose any health risks to which you may be subject, such as diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, etc. We feel that excellent medical care is incomplete without patient education. We offer information, through handouts and discussions on important health topics such as diet, vitamins, exercise, cardiac risk factors, home treatment of common illnesses, infant care, normal growth and development, and family planning.
