Where To Park
There are two main entrances to the parking lot and base area. Parking attendants will direct you to available spaces and facilities.

Far East Entrance: The Far East entrance, on the east end of the parking area, allows quick access to the new Far East Guest Center and the Far East Express lift. Available parking has been expanded to include more guest parking spaces around the Far East Center, and also near the Red Dog Mountain Operations Complex. Guests parking in this area may access the mountain via the Far East Express lift, or via the Funitel, Cable Car, and other base area lifts.

The Far East Center includes lift ticket portals, Ski School Sales offices, a retail accessory shop, restrooms, the General Store, Red Dog Bar & Grill, and ski & snowboard rentals.

For beginners, the Papoose Learning Center is just adjacent to the Far East Center. Tickets, rentals, and ski school lessons are available for the Papoose area at the Far East Center.

West End Entrance: This entrance accesses the parking spaces adjacent to the Cable Car building and the new Village. The Village is situated in front of the Cable Car building and base facilities. Guests parking in this area may access the mountain via the Cable Car, Funitel, and other base area lifts.

Preferred Parking
For those who have purchased preferred parking passes, the Preferred Parking area is located in the area in front of the Red Wolf Lodge, Children's Center, and Members Locker Room. This area can be accessed most easily from the Far East Entrance.

Where To Get Lift Tickets
Lift Tickets are available in the following locations:

• At the ticket portals between the Village and the Funitel
• Inside the Cable Car Building
• At the Far East Center

Ticket windows open one half hour before the scheduled lift opening.

Where to Rent Skis and Snowboards
If you need to rent skis or snowboards, the main rental shop is located in the center of the base village adjacent to the ticket portals and Squaw Valley Sport Shop. The snowboard rental shop, Alternative Edge, is located in the Olympic House.

Ski & Snowboard rentals are also available in the Far East Center.

Ski & Snowboard School
Ski and snowboarding lessons can be purchased at any ticket window or one of the following locations:

• The Main Ski School Office adjacent to the main ticket portals
• The High Camp Ski School Sales office
• The Far East Center

Beginner's Services
The new Papoose Learning Area is devoted specifically to first time skiers and snowboarders. The First Time Adventure Package, which includes equipment rental, a limited use lift ticket, and beginner lesson, is available at Papoose OR at High Camp. For information, visit the Far East Center or any ticket window.

Squaw Kids Children's Center
The Children's Center is located on the south side of the base area adjacent to the bottom of Red Dog lift and the Members Locker Building. A "drop-off zone" is available for parents to drop off kids for Children's Center. Ask one of our guest service representatives or a parking attendant for directions.
