For women who list “be a better skier” and “build confidence” among their new year’s resolutions, Ingrid Backstrom and Jessica Sobolowski are hosting the ultimate women’s weekend ski camp aimed at accomplishing both of those goals. The camp is open to advanced to expert skiers, ages 13 and up. Campers receive unparalleled coaching from the World’s top women big mountain skiers. A videographer films each participant during Saturday’s session so women can gain a visual perspective of their skiing strengths and weaknesses prior to heading out for day 2.
Ski film star Ingrid Backstrom has coached numerous camps around the world and has been voted Best Female Skier by Powder Magazine and Freeskier Magazine more times than she can count. Pro skier Jessica Sobolowski has been in over a dozen ski movies and is a heli-ski guide. She also hosts her own camp “Alaskan Ladies” at Points North Heli (PNH).
Campers can expect appearances from special guest coaches including ski icons Michelle Parker and Jamie Burge. The star studded, all-women’s freeskiing clinic begins each day with stretching and yoga and ends with an aprés ski celebration.
